Is Hisaronu a bit touristy?
The main strip is — British pubs, karaoke, the works. The villa is on the quiet hillside above. You walk to the bakery for breakfast and out for dinner, but you don't have to swim through the strip.
What about the Blue Lagoon?
12 minutes by taxi (5 GBP). The beach is busy but the water is calm and clear, perfect for paddle-boarding.
