Terms of service

These are the terms that govern your use of hiddenturkey.co.uk and any holiday you book through our concierge. We have written them in plain English. UK consumer law applies.

1. Who we are

Hidden Turkey is a trading name of a UK-registered limited company that operates as a bespoke travel concierge for British travellers visiting Turkey. We hold appropriate Turkish travel-agency (TURSAB) and UK financial-protection insurances.

2. Booking and payment

Once you confirm a trip in writing, we hold your villa, flights and experiences with deposits. A non-refundable deposit (typically 25% of trip cost) is due within 7 days of confirmation. The balance is due 6 weeks before departure. Payment is by bank transfer or card.

3. Cancellation

If you cancel more than 6 weeks before departure, we refund all but the deposit and any non-refundable third-party costs we have already paid (some villas charge cancellation, some flights are non-refundable). Inside 6 weeks, terms vary by component — we make these explicit in your written confirmation.

4. Travel insurance

We require all guests to hold valid travel insurance covering Turkey, including any pre-existing conditions. We can recommend providers (Saga, Allianz, Staysure all cover Turkey well).

5. Liability

We are responsible for the holiday components we book on your behalf. We are not liable for force majeure events, flight delays caused by airlines, or third-party failures outside our reasonable control. We carry appropriate professional indemnity and travel-operator insurance.

6. Disputes

If something goes wrong on your trip, contact our 24/7 in-country WhatsApp first — we will fix it on the ground. After the trip, complaints should be in writing to hello@hiddenturkey.co.uk. UK consumer law applies and disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
